"Two can be as bad as one...it's the loneliest number since the number one." (Harry Nilsson)
There is no perfect season for difficult choices but winter is a good time to reflect and plan and look forward to a new year and new beginnings.
Wishing you all a wonderful holiday season.
Liz-Anna, Very well spoken! My prayer for you is a new year filled with enjoyment of the things that you love most! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteLizAnna, thinking of you. And, wishing you a good 2011 filled with contentment and peace.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your children this week, sending you huge hugs and wishes for a great new beginning in 2011.
ReplyDeleteYou are right. Winter is a good time to turn inward and reflect. I love the new pic of you (am assuming it's you) and your feet on the lake. And the winter tree is lovely.
ReplyDeleteYou are so so loved! You're future is going to be amazing because you are. Love, hugs, and peace to you now and always! -Amanda
ReplyDeleteI want to know about the photo in your blog header. Tell about the art journal, please, and maybe some pix??!!
ReplyDeleteThank you all so much for your support and comments! About the photo...I took the photo of me on my birthday last summer floating on the lake in front of my house on one of those wonderful floaty chairs. I was writing an entry in my journal about what a perfect day it was. I've joined an on-line journalling workshop that starts this week as well as The Sketchbook Challenge (the button is on my sidebar) and I'll be sharing journal pages as we go. I'm really looking forward to both of them. Pam Carriker is teaching the first part of the free Strathmore Visual Journalling workshop and the Sketchbook Challenge is a joint project involving a number of well-known artists who will also be sharing their journals.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful photo! Hi I am Sooziii from the Strathmore workshop and I thought I would drop in and say Hi!!
ReplyDeleteHi Liz-Anna! I'm so glad I found your wonderful blog (via the Strathmore introductions) - your artworks are so beautiful! You must be very happy to have that lake view - I love lakes, but I can live by a lake only in the summertime at my summer cottage. Your title photo is wonderful, and you know what: I have taken almost similar pics of my feet in the summer! If you would like to see some of my artwork, you can take a look at my blog http://saksetjaliimaa.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteI wish you a very Happy New Year!
